REVOLUTION
1 The Revolution feature is only available to European civilizations.  The Revolution is an alternative to the Imperial Age allowing a choice of one of two revolutionary leaders per civilization, each with different bonuses.  Once revolution is researched, the HC flag will change to a modern country flag and no HC shipments can be sent from the current HC deck.  However, a new deck of 4 new shipments will be available that can be sent indefinitely (see below).  No new settlers can be produced and all existing settlers turn into Colonial Militia.  Therefore, there will be no settlers to gather resources (with the exceptions of existing fishing boats, banks, Factories, and HC trickle sources).  However, it is possible to build new military units with stockpiled resources.
2 After revolting, all other players on the battlefield (including teammates) will not be able revolt themselves.  Revolting currently costs 1000 food, wood, and gold (much cheaper than the Imperial Age).  However, if an ally or opponent revolts, any other opponent or ally can still go to Imperial.
3 If decide to revolt, send all useful HC shipments from current deck first.  All shipments in the process of sending when the 10 second Revolution timer ends will be canceled.  All buildings currently being built when the revolution timer ends will be stopped and left uncompleted.
4 It is not possible to spawn villagers (including settler wagons) after revolting and all current villagers (including settler wagons / Coureur de Bois) convert to Colonial Militia.  However, banks, fishing boats, and factories will continue to collect resources.
5 If villagers are in queue from a separate TC that revolution is being researched, the villagers being spawned will be canceled and the food cost refunded.
6 All units that gain hit points automatically upon aging up (Explorer, Explorers dog from HC shipment, Sphai, Spy, Petard, etc.) do not gain hit points in revolution.  They only automatically increase when aging to Imperial.
7 It takes 10 seconds to research Revolution.
8 No spies (Imperial Age technology out of the Capitol) are possible in Revolution, but it is possible to win by a Trade Monopoly.
9 The Move All Military Units to one location button on the right hand corner of the mini map is very useful at the start of a revolution to move all of the colonial militia (former villagers) into place.
10 Houses are not required after revolting.  The population will max out at 200 with or without houses.

NOTE:
The Outlaw Riders and Outlaw Pisteleros are not the same as can be hired from the saloon.  These units are exactly like the treasure guardians (see Treasure Guide Worksheet).  Because of this, they have no stances (no volley, cover, melee, etc).
